Bad news if you don’t believe. You’re gonna believe some day. It will be so overwhelming that your mind and heart will surrender to belief that Jesus is who He says He is.
I urge you to consider this now. Let Him convince your mind that He is Savior, the one true King, the Son in the Triune God. He came to give you eternal life because God so loved the world that He sent His Son to save it. He forgives you of all the guilt, shame, arrogance, and deceit that you’ve embraced while walking through the world. You’re still you after, but better. Because of Him. Jesus is who He says He is. I urge you to talk with Him now and find out for yourself, then embrace the most simple truth on which the universe hangs. Your eternity depends on it.
Because, if you don’t, when you see Him return as He said He would, you’re going to blanch. Your face will go pale and your body will grow weak. At that moment, when Jesus returns to end human history as we’ve known it, you will realize that everything that was said in the Bible, everything that God promised, was all true. When that happens, all the intellectualizing, all the reasoning, all the worldly belongings and wealth, all the scheming and posturing and advancement that we’ve pursued won’t matter. When Jesus appears with His armies of heaven, Judgment Day will have arrived. It will be too late to ask for mercy, to ask for forgiveness.
Please reconsider.
Please reconsider today because, if you don’t believe in Him now (when there is a promise to enjoy the blessings of eternity both here and forever), you WILL believe in Him at His return when that promise is completed. The time for considering will be at an end when you see the undeniable, overwhelming presence of Jesus Christ, returning from heaven, to make all things new. If you’ve never felt terror before, you will feel it then.
It will be too late. Please reconsider now.
Test the Scriptures; read the Bible. Start in the Gospels, then work your way through the rest. Open your heart and mind to Jesus and tell Him EVERYTHING. Pray, yell, scream, talk; whatever it takes, tell Him everything you’re thinking and feeling, even why you don’t believe in Him. He wants to hear it. At the end, you’ll come to the simple realization that He’s still there, and He still loves you and wants you just as you are. You’ll know what to do then.
Heed the news now before it turns bad, before it’s too late. Please reconsider.
